A courageous, eco-friendly choice that reflects the pure soul of Chamois. In 1955, it was decided not to build a road to connect the village to the valley. Today, in this small village that can only be reached on the Buisson cable car, via the small Chamois high-altitude airport, or on foot along a historic mule track in summer, you can still feel the traditional atmosphere of the mountain villages of yesteryear.
